Moscow Mayor: Third of employees to work from home till Nov 29

MOSCOW, Oct 28 (PRIME) -- The Moscow government order to companies to send at least a third of the employees to work from home is prolonged until November 29, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his blog on Wednesday.

"In accordance with a report received by the Moscow government, more than 1.22 million people have started working from home -- almost everyone who could and should to do this," Sobyanin said.

“We have to keep this situation in place for the weeks to come. This is why the requirement to send at least 30% of employees to work from home is prolonged until November 29, 2020."

He also said that passenger traffic has fallen by about 40% from the usual level.

Sobyanin also said obligatory check ins in public entertainment establishments are extended until November 29.
